GETTING BACK ON THE HORSE

Well not a real horse but after not blogging for a week…..I need a swift kick in the ass right now.

I trust everyone had a relaxing week with family and friends.

A few weeks ago I posted about a coffee table that I had painted for a client.

 And the top

We could have bought a new one but this was a good size…solid wood and anytime I can recycle in a project I'm game.

Leaves funds for something else.

We also had these painted.
Good size and nice for storage.

Plus I saw this while looking for end tables and was inspired!

The cube in the top right hand corner.

Easy Button.

Back to the coffee table.

I used these painted walls I saw at the Southern Living Showhouse down in Senoia, Georgia for my inspiration.

Now you are going to ask me the colors we used [because you already have]…..I THINK it was Clay Beige and Manchester Tan [Benjamin Moore].

I wanted the coffee table to look "more than just a painted table".

Here they are side by side so you can see the difference.  The cube was painted just an off white with a very soft glaze.

I pulled some "beige" colors from the pillow fabric.

Here is a close up.

I am really pleased with how it came out.

Allrighty then….all is good.  This was easy…I am back in the game.

Shafabulous!
